A Letter From Board President John Dunn

Golfers and PIL supporters enjoyed another spectacular day at the Mel Krause Memorial Golf Tournament Monday, Sept. 14, at Langdon Farms Golf Club. I want to take a moment to thank and commend the incredible volunteers who made it such a fun, successful and smooth day for all our participants.

Special thanks and appreciation go to the following:

• Tournament Leaders: Steve Rudolph for his exceptional work chairing the tournament, and Co-Chair Bruce Plato, for a very successful and fun event.
• Registration Table: Jack Bertell, Joel Roth, and Scott Santangelo for holding down the front lines and handling check-ins beautifully.
• Roll the Dice Hole: Karen Aker and Scott Aker for managing this entertaining station and keeping spirits high.
• Gift Bags: Greg, Lezlie, and Nelson Franks for all their hard work gathering, putting together, and delivering the wonderful gift bags.
• Special Donation: Bob Woodle for generously donating "Bubba's Balls" to all of our tournament participants.
• Hole Announcers: Greg Crawford and Robert Jones for bringing great energy and announcing the participants at their hole.
• Pro Golfer Support: Heather Egan and Kim from the District Office for their fantastic assistance supporting our guest professional golfer, Anthony Thomas.

An event like this relies entirely on the dedication of our community. Thank you all for your hard work and deep support of the PIL Hall of Fame. We are already looking forward to next year!
