Drafted by SF Giants, 1998; 3 years Single ABaseball in Salem and Bakersfield. On 1998 Salem-Keizer ChampionshipTeam. Coached HS Baseball at Lincoln in 2008; Cleveland from 2014-2016, Central Catholic from 2017-2019; Basketball at Wilsonfrom 2009-2013. In 17th year as Athletic Field Supervisor for PortlandParks and Rec. Baseball 1 year in Holland and 8 years with the SeattleStuds of the Northwest Independent Semi-Pro League.
Commentary
One thing that has inspired me over my life was told to me as a young kid: "give back to what was given to me." So I live by that creed. Throughout my life, I have been blessed with some of the most amazing coaches, teachers, mentors and teammates. They are the reason for who I am today. I am honored here because of the many people who have impacted my life and pushed me to be the best I could be.
I work harder today to impact young minds and work hard to give the same opportunities to all as I had growing up in Portland. My memories of playing high school sports will never be about me playing but about the people who believed in me and showed me the ways to work hard for what you want and never give up. Thank you to all my coaches, I will always remember the time you took for all the young minds you impact daily. Franklin Quakers forever.
