Post-High School Career
Played football, basketball and track and field at Bradley University; coached Grant HS boys basketball team to several PIL championships; served as PIL Athletic Director from 1958-1980; was 30-year member of the Oregon High School Coaches Association; earned Merit Award from Oregon Sports Writers and Sportscasters at annual Bill Hayward Banquet of Champions; was first HS Athletic Director appointed to advise the Oregon School Activities Association Executive Board; was inducted into the National Federation of State High School Associations Hall of Fame the first year of its existence.
