Commentary

My father, Marc Sprague, Sr., inspired my love for wrestling. He was a long-time private coach at Oregon Athletic Club and USA Cobra. He and Hall of Fame member Roy Pittman introduced me to amateur wrestling at a very early age. Other encourage-rs were the late Floyd Vaughn, Pavel Katsen and Bobby Douglas. Things I learned on the mat—dedication, goal setting, perseverance and building the competitive edge—helped me succeed in the launching and running of an auto detail business.
