Coached many of the greatest wrestlers in Oregon history, plus many other coaches and personalities. EXAMPLES: Robin Reed (Franklin HS) - Olympic champion, National champion at three weight classes; Virg Cavagnaro (Benson HS) - Olympic champion; Cy Mitchell - Multnomah Athletic Club wrestling coach; Howard Hobson, Chappie King, Mel Blanc. At Lincoln HS he coached world famous gymnastics group and body builders.
