High School Honors
4 Football Letters and 3 each in Basketball and Track. As a Junior and Senior, 1st Team All-PIL, PIL Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year, team MVP and captain, quarterback and defensive back; 2nd team PIL as a Sophomore. 1st Team All-State quarterback and 2nd Team as defensive back as a Senior. In Basketball, 2nd Team All-PIL as a Senior. On 2008 State Championship team. In Track and Field, PIL Champion on 4x400m Relay Team as a Sophomore and Junior; State Champion as a Sophomore. PIL Champion in the 4x100 Relay Team as a Junior and Senior.
Post-High School Career
4 Letters and 3-year starter in football at Southern Methodist University, twice named 2nd team All-Conference USA. Drafted in 6th round of NFL draft by San Francisco 49ers in 2014 and signed a 4-year contract. Played for Kansas City Chiefs, 2016, and Jacksonville Jaguars, 2018. Presently a free agent.
