Coach and student counselor at Lincoln HS for 26 years; coached boys basketball, girls basketball and swimming; coached summer baseball; was actively involved with the Oregon Special Olympics for 10 years, organizing a tri-county track and field meet for handicapped athletes, attracting upwards of 600 athletes each year.
