3 football Letters, 1st Team All-PIL as a junior and senior and 2 baseball Letters.
Post-High School Career
3 year football letterman at Oregon State, degree in Agriculture. Known as "Gray Ghost", tied for league scoring as a sophomore. At the time, hailed as the greatest passer in OSC history. Drafted by Chicago Bears, but opted to have a career as an agriculture Inspector. Joins brothers Dick and Gene in the PIL Hall of Fame.
