Commentary

I am honored to be inducted into the PIL Hall of Fame. I was an Alabama young boy, born and raised, when I moved to Portland at the age of 12. My first time playing organized basketball was at Matt Dishman community center. That time helped me adjust moving from the south to the other side of the country.

I’ve had some of the most influential men in my life, starting with my experience with SEI.  Mr. (Tony) Hopson and his team made a big impression on me.  Followed by my time at Jeff.  Coach Bobby “Bub” Harris and Coach Mark Pinder helped my development heading into college.

Thank you all.
