Commentary
Athletics taught me composure, patience, and gave me confidence to believe in myself. I fell in love with baseball because of a patient Little League coach in Norfolk, Virginia. My dad Stan fanned that love into flames pitching batting practice and pepper sessions that sometimes lasted til midnight. My thanks to Jefferson coaches Andy Pienovi and Chuck Peterson and Treasure Valley coach Greg Maco for their patience and coaching.
