High School Honors
Two-year Football letter winner; selected as Honorable Mention All-PIL Team in 1941 and First All-PIL Team in 1942; one of only two juniors selected to play in "Milk Fund" game in 1941 against PIL Champion Jefferson. Played fullback on undefeated and unscored upon 1942 Team and was chosen as PIL Co-Player of the Year, leading the team in scoring with 36 points.
Post-High School Career
Spent 35 years in banking business, 20 years as manager.
