Post-High School Career
Attended University of Portland for four years and was drafted by the Seattle Mariners. Pac-10 All-Star and Academic All-American at UP. Also, Team USA Member. Played four years of professional minor league Baseball in the early 1990’s, first with the Mariners and then with the Colorado Rockies organizations. Was a manager for 18 years with Nordstrom and 5 years with Williams Sonoma
Commentary
The person who inspired me, and who I owe my lasting impressions for baseball, is my Dad. I fell in love with the game of baseball when I was eight years old. My Dad and I would spend hours playing catch together every night after dinner. I was fortunate enough to play longer than I thought. My entire family is part of this conference.
