Two-year baseball letter winner (two previous years at Dayton). First Team All-PIL; member of PIL Championship team. Two-year track and field letter winner (two previous years at Dayton). Earned 16 varsity letters in four years; All-League in football, baseball and track and field at Dayton.
Post-High School Career
First team All-League in baseball and football at Oregon College of Education; First Team All-Northern Division outfielder at Oregon State University. Coached high school athletics for 40 years.
