Clyde Knox
High School Honors
Member of faculty for 31 years (spanning four decades). Coached tennis, basketball and football and was instrumental in expanding the intramural program. Boys tennis teams won PIL Championship 12 times and the State Championship twice (1954, 56). Biology teacher for many years and then served as a counselor.
Post-High School Career
Won Portland men’s singles championship five times.
