1 Letter in Football; halfback as a Junior. 3 Letters in Basketball; 1st team All-PIL, team MVP, and All-Tournament as a Senior. 2 Letters in Baseball; 1st team All-PIL catcher as a Junior and Senior.
Post-High School Career
2 Letters each in Football and Basketball at Southern Oregon Normal. 2 Letters each in Basketball and Baseball at University of Oregon. Played minor league professional basketball and baseball before launching a 31 year coaching career in Medford schools from 1947-1978. Inducted as a charter member in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) District 2 Hall of Fame in 1960. Inducted into Benson Hall of Fame as a Charter Member in 2000.
