Post-High School Career
Baseball at Oregon State, frosh team and 1-year letterman on varsity; graduated with BS Degree in Chemical Engineering in 1964. 2nd Lt. In US Army, 1-year in Vietnam, 8 years in CA National Guard as a Company Commander and Brigade Staff Officer. Chevron Oil 17 years as Project, Lead, and Supervisory Engineer; Construction Project Engineer for 32 years with JH Kelly in NW Washington. Coached boys and girls soccer in Longview, volunteer president of 7th Ave. Park Committee that developed five full size soccer fields and four softball fields serving children and adult teams in the City of Longview.
