Carl Cadonau, Sr., started Alpenrose Dairy in 1916, and community service always has been a part of the family and business.
Grandpa started a facility for youth baseball in 1956 and it hosted games for nearly 70 years. Many players who competed in the Portland Interscholastic League got their start at Alpenrose which for years hosted the Little League Girls Softball World Series.
The PIL and multiple generations of young baseball players are grateful for the generosity of Grandpa Carl Cadonau, Carl I and Carl II.
