Played football and ran track at OSU (Colliers All-American in football sophomore year); after returning from the Armed Forces, he again was chosen All-American in football; played for Washington Redskins; coached football at Franklin HS and Washington HS; served as administrator at Washingfton, Cleveland, Marshall and Roosevelt.
