Post-High School Career
Served as Jefferson HS baseball coach for 14 years with his teams finishing within the top three in the PIL each year; coached his team to the state championship in 1959 and was 24-2 in 1961, losing only to Rick Wise-led Madison both times; also was a very successful assistant basketball coach; has served as a full-time scout for the Toronto Blue Jays.
