Four-year Baseball letter winner at Oregon State University; Most Valuable Player in 1963. Played in Boston Red Sox organization for 12 years; Manager of Winter-Haven Red Sox and also coached third base for four years at Triple A level; Won Silver Glove Award in Class AAA.
