Honoring our accomplished athletes

Honors past, present, and new members of the PIL Hall of Fame for their accomplishments and contributions to the PIL, with a recognition dinner of 500-600 people. The Portland Interscholastic League (PIL) Hall of Fame will hold its 2008 Induction Banquet at the Holiday Inn Airport (NE 84th and Columbia Blvd.), Sunday, October 19, beginning at 6 p.m. with new inductees being honored at the annual ceremony. It marks the fifth year of the revival of the enhanced PIL Hall of Fame Induction Banquet, and this year's affair is sure to be another sellout. Candidates are selected each year by a committee that consists of two voting representatives from each of the PIL's 10 current high schools, plus Adams, Jackson and Washington/Monroe.
